Hi some exciting news about planned improvements to your squash club this summer.
New roof - the existing roof has come to the end of its useful life and as many will know from experience leaks in heavy rain. The the old asbestos roof tiles will be replaced with modern insulated roofing panels which will help keep the courts warmer in winter and look much better from both the outside and the inside. The internal ceiling cladding over the courts which is in a bad state will be removed as part of this work.
New court heaters - the current old noisy gas court heaters will be replaced with new electric heaters which will be silent and have on/off controls for each court.
New LED light units - the current LED light units will be replaced with new units.
This work will be funded by the Club and a significant grant from Sport England. It will require the closure of the Club for a period of some weeks later in the summer. Once dates have been finalised members will be notified
