Hi, this week the court lights have been rewired and the old lights replaced with new LED units. The work revealed significant damage to the electrical circuits caused by squirrels chewing the insulation. Unfortunately the work has taken slightly longer than expected and as a result we can only partially re-open the club this weekend. Both courts are closed tomorrow (Saturday) morning until 12 noon and then court 2 will open. Court 1 will stay closed until Monday evening. Apologies to members who had booked to play on court 1 this weekend and to the junior coaching and the senior Sunday morning training sessions. Normal service will resume Monday evening onwards although there is a slight shadow on the front walls as result of changing the light fittings. We are working on this and hope to have it resolved shortly.
