Blackheath Squash Weekly Update 30 December to 5 January 2020

Hi the next week's update as follows

The Clubhouse bar is closed for the holidays and re-opens on Thursday 2 January 2020. The court booking system is suspended until the 2 January. During this period members can turn up and play if the courts are free and if the courts are busy when you arrive use the white board to queue for a court.

The Club Coach has a couple of one-to-one sessions over the holidays which are shown on the MyCourts court booking system so check the court booking sheets for the best times for good court availability.

Court Calendar

Thursday 11am to 6pm - Courts Closed (see below)
Friday 8pm to 10pm Club Night (see below)
Saturday 8.45am to 12noon Junior Coaching
Sunday 9am to 10.30am Squash 101 - Beginners Session
Sunday 10.30am to 12noon Senior Training Session
Sunday 6pm to 7.30pm Ladies Squash (see below)

Thursday 11am to 6pm Courts Closed

The courts will be closed between 11am to 6pm on Thursday 2 January for plaster repairs to the walls.

Ladies Squash Sundays 6pm to 7.30pm

We are keen to encourage ladies squash at Blackheath and have a Ladies Session on Sunday evenings from 6pm to 7.30pm. This is a social and fun session for players of all abilities and you don’t need to be a member to join in. Club Night

Club Night is held every Friday at 8pm. Its open to all members and is a great way to meet other members and have a knock at the same time. First time attendance is free and thereafter £3. Come along and give it a go! See more at https://www.blackheathsquashclub.com/social

Racketball

If you want to give racketball a try without the expense of buying a racket and ball we have two racketball rackets and ball behind the main bar for use by squash members. Just ask the bar person if you can borrow them. But please remember to return them! See more at https://www.blackheathsquashclub.com/racketball
