Hi, England Squash have launched a 'Squash Girls Can' coaching initiative which provides the opportunity for females over the age of 16 to be trained and mentored up to Level 2 England Squash coaching standard over a 12 month period starting in January 2020. England Squash are looking for candidates who;
• can commit to the 12 month initiative
• have the support of a club or venue from where they will undertake coaching
• will deliver at least 12 coaching sessions (group sessions for a level 1 coach, group
and/or individual for level 2)
• are committed to developing their coaching skills and confidence
• are able to attend a minimum of 6 workshops organised by their mentor
• are passionate and enthusiastic about engaging more squash players at all levels
• will be a positive role model.
Blackheath Squash Club is keen to promote more ladies and girls squash and would support suitable candidates by covering the initial cost of the course and facilitating the required group coaching sessions. If you are interested in this opportunity you can find out more at
