Hello everyone,
Unsurprisingly, there haven't so far been any volunteers to take on running the league, but someone does need to step forward.
The club is run by volunteers and I would have thought this is an ideal opportunity for a young, up-and-coming professional type to take on some responsibility that would look very good on their CV. I've always found that all experience is good experience, and running a local squash league isn't going to do any harm when it comes to getting noticed for the next job...
For whoever steps forward, this is the week, as we'll need a handover to get used to the trickle of requests that come in during the month and to enable Roald to change the recruitment procedures (it's a well-oiled machine...).
The monthly job itself is quite efficient, being online, with a well-established procedure to run through.
So if you would like to see the league continue, please do give some thought to stepping up and helping the club.
